Day 1:  Hanoi Motorbike Tour to Ba Be Lake. – 240 km ( L , D )

Pick up at your hotel at 7:30 Am and testing bike and this great motorcycle tour to the north of Vietnam starts at around 8 AM. We try the best to avoid busy city road in the morning until Cho Chu town ( in Thai Nguyen province) where we have luch. After lunch, we surely have enjoyable motorcycle ride to Ba Be lake because the roads have less traffic and give you a lot of grand mountain view. At about 4 PM. We arrive Pac Ngoi – a beautiful village of Tay people which located peacefully at Ba Be lake’s side. Diner and stay with the Tay’s family.

Ba Bể Lake (Vietnamese: Hồ Ba Bể – Ba means “Three”, Bể is from the Tay language word pé, meaning “lake”) is the largest natural lake in Vietnam. It is located in Nam Mẫu commune, Bắc Kạn district, Bắc Kạn Province in the northeastern region of the country.

Having been formed approximately 200 million years ago, the lake is surrounded by limestone cliffs, which in turn are covered by primary forests. The lake comprises three zones named Pé Lầm, Pé Lù, and Pé Lèng. Three rivers, named Năng, Tả Han, and Nam Cường, are the main inflows of the lake. The Năng river enters the lake through a large waterfall called Đầu Đẳng. In the lake there are also three islands, named Án Mã, Khẩu Cúm, and Po Gia Mải (literally “Widow’s Island”).
Ba Bể Lake is a featured geographical science and is a biodiversity reservoir. It is a part of the Ba Be National Park. It is home of a range of animals and plants.

Day 2: Off-road Motorcycle Tour From Babe Lake  To  Meo Vac.  – 170 km ( B , L ,D )

Saying good bye to the family, we ride on a small road about 40 km before taking a small beautiful trail that goes thought the jungle, we ride across some streams, a great day for off-road ride. Continue to Bao Lac town for lunch then continue to ride up to Meo Vac by taking a scenic route climbs over many Passes where we can enjoy beautiful mountain ranges and the Nho Que river – Just an amazing place to be. Arrive in Meo Vac by 5.00PM. Dinner in town, Homestay.

Meo Vac Towns are located in the heart of the Dong Van Rock Plateau, which was recognized as part of the Global Geo-Park Network in 2009, the Dong Van old quarter is home to age old and unique architecture near Ha Giang Province’s border with China. Day 3: Meo Vac – Dong Van - Ha Giang – 175 km ( B , L , D )

Today’s ride must be highlights of the trip but on asphalt road as we will visit one of the most remote land in Vietnam where we can see many ethnic groups with their unique cultures and imposing mountains such as : Pi Leng Pass – one of the 4 longest and most beautiful passes in North Vietnam, the Rock Plateau, the Vuong palace in Dong Van, The “Heaven Gate” . This is for sure the best motorbike ride in Vietnam with many interesting and amazing things in every meter of the road. Arrive Ha Giang in the late afternoon.

Dinner and stay with the other Tay’s family

Ha Giang, 300 km away from Hanoi, located at the highest latitude in Vietnam. It is surrounded by Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, and Yen Bai. It shares a border with China in the north. Many ethnic minorities, including the Dao, H’mong, Tay, and Nung, live in Ha Giang province Vietnam.

Day 4: Ha Giang Motorbike Tour to Hoang Su Phi- Bac Ha – 155 km (  B , L , D )

Today we head straight towards the North-western mountain where the main mountain range dominates the road until Bac Ha. The road is today with some hard off-road with a good view of green mountain, rice fields between lovely villages of the hill tribes of H'mong people .

Bắc Hà is a rural district of Lào Cai Province in the Northeast region of Vietnam. It is the capital of the region of the Flower Hmong, one of the 54 minorities of Vietnam and one of the six groups of Hmong people. It is famous for its Sunday morning market, where thousands of locals gather, with the women dressed in their very intricate handmade costumes (it takes three to five months to embroider one by hand), as well as the Saturday morning smaller market of Cán Cấu, 18 kilometres (11 mi) north of Bắc Hà. The town is enjoying an economic boom thanks to tourism, centered on the markets and, more and more, excellent trekking in the mountains north of the town.

Arrive in BacHa in the late afternoon, overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Bac Ha Motorbike Tour to Sa Pa. –  155km (  B , L )

7:30 breakfast and if Sunday we will have time to visit beautiful local market until 11:00 AM .Today we will riding is a beautiful mountain views with some some dirt-road and off-road from Bac Ha to Sapa. we head straight towards the North-western mountain where the main Fanxipan Mountain range dominates the road until Sapa. The road is some smooth with a good view of green mountain, rice fields between lovely villages of the hill tribes. After a short break in Pho Lu for lunch and we will have very beautiful motorbike tour to Sapa. This motorbike ride is up and up till 1.600 meters above sea level. Tonight explore dinner by your own in Sapa town .

Sapa is colorful and charming, providing the perfect oasis in the midst of a strenuous mountain trek or rice-paddy tour. The Gothic stone church at the center of town is a bull’s-eye in the center of shops and stalls, serving as a reminder of the town’s French missionary influence. Dinner on Vietnamese or European-inspired cuisine downtown.

Arrive in Sapa in the afternoon, overnight at hotel.

Day 6:  Sapa Motorcycle Ride to Than Uyen.  – 115 km (  B , D )

You are free to explore Sapa until 12.30PM, check out hotel and we continue the route to Than Uyen, we will make a splendid climb up from Sapa to the top of the highest road pass in Vietnam (Tram Ton Pass). Crossing into Lai Chau Province at over 2000 m above sea level. This is the short motorbike ride but could be the most enjoyable motorbike tour form Sapa. The ride offers you amazing view of the Hoang Lien mountain ranges for miles and miles with beautiful green tea garden. We arrive in Than Uyen by 4.30PM.

Day 7: Than Uyen – Mu Cang Chai - Tram Tau - Ta Xua Peak - Bac Yen –  245 km ( B , L , D )

We keep riding up and down into a forested and high mountain region populated by H’mong peoples, We will hike up a very high mountain pass before descending into a mountainous tea-growing region. Soon after we follow a long the valley floor covered in a sea of rice surrounded by Hmong and Thai’s villages all the way to Bac Yen, lunch on route in Nghia Lo before offroad in the afternoon to Tram Tau and Ta Xua peak. Beautiful views along the way with Ta Xua peak, late arrival Bac Yen for local hotel check in .

Day 8: Bac Yen – Old Road No 6 - Mai Chau. –  165 km ( B ,  L , D )

We ride on a good paved road along a beautiful stream before descending to the banks of the reservoir and a ferry crossing. Once across we have 50 kilometers route that has plenty of challenging surface and is prone to landslides. Much of the area is inhabited by Kinh and both Black and White Thai, all offering the impressive views over the area on a clear day. After lunch in a local place, we join the old route No6 to Mai Chau.

Dinner and overnight at home-stay in the Thais village.

Day 9: Mai Chau – Hanoi. – 165 km ( B  , L )

Getting up late, feel the peaceful life of the local by walking around the valley and then start the motorbike ride back to Hanoi at around 9:30 AM. Riding from Mai Chau to Ba Khan villages along the Hoa Binh lake . After beautiful mountain passes we will have lunch and then join the way back to Hanoi.
